How to cook Yamabushi take mushroom?

  • Tempura
  • Miso Soup / Osui Mono (Japanese soup)
  • Salad
  • Hotpot
  • Pasta
  • Soup



  1. Break the mushroom into small pieces by hands.
  2. Put in boiling water for 20-40 seconds.
  3. Remove water from the mushroom. And add your favorite leafy vegetables.
  4. Add some salad seasonings. *we recommend sesame dressing.


For Stir-fried Vegetables and Meat in Starchy Sauce (八宝菜):


  • Yamabushi Mushroom ...1 pack
  • Bok Choy ... 2 pieces
  • Carrot ... 50g
  • Salt & Pepper ... 1/2 small tbsp.
  • Chinese seasoning ... some
  • Boiled water ... 1/2 cup
  • Starch ... some
  • Oil ... some


  1. Break the mushroom into small pieces by hands.
  2. Cut Bok-Choy into 2-3cm pieces and Cut Carrot into small pieces.
  3. Add little oil onto a pan. Add above vegetables.
  4. Stir-fry with some salt and peppers.
  5. Add the mushroom and seasonings (sauce).
  6. Add the water-melted starch for creamy texture.
