Enoki mushrooms are common in Japanese cuisines where they are known as enokitake and Chinese cuisine where they are known as 金针菁E(translated as golden needle mushrooms).
There are a few ways to cook enoki mushroom, stir fry, soup, grill with bacon, or in Japan, we make enoki tempura or add them in "nabe", a type of hotpot with vegetable, meat or fish. Due to their slim stems, they absorb essence and flavour easily.
