Using Norwegian herring, we select herring without roe for higher fat content. With a unique Japanese flavor, the bones are softened by marinating in vinegar overnight and then marinating in miso. 
This product is fully edible, ready to eat simply by defrosting, making preparation easy and providing convenient access to the nutrients of mackerel. 
It pairs especially well with rice.
