Description
Among the earliest peaches of Japan's summer season, Hikawa-Hakuho is harvested in Yamanashi Prefecture from June, marking the beginning of the country's highly anticipated peach harvest.
Known for its exceptionally low acidity and abundant juice content, Hikawa-Hakuho offers a remarkably smooth, melting texture with a naturally rich sweetness. While its Brix level typically ranges from 11–13°, the low acidity allows the fruit's sweetness to be perceived more intensely and elegantly on the palate.
The fruit is distinguished by its deep red skin, attractive appearance, and exceptionally juicy flesh. Delicate, fragrant, and refreshing, Hikawa-Hakuho is valued as one of the season's earliest expressions of Japan's renowned peach culture.
