The addition of Okinawa prefecture-produced black sugar further develops its taste and smoothness, achieving a moderately sweet finish. Unlike regular plum wine, it is characterized by the use of Awamori, which matures over a long period, and the elegant aroma of plum wine.

This Ryukyu Awamori, refined by the beautiful natural environment and skill, comes from the Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa Island, near the World Heritage Site of Nakijin Castle Ruins. Nakijin Distillery, surrounded by nature and rooted in the community, continues the tradition of handcrafted, pure rice, additive-free brewing while exploring the possibilities of Awamori with modern techniques.

Made from rice and using black koji mold, the Ryukyu Awamori is distilled and refined with the skill and love of a master brewer who carries on tradition, resulting in a rich aroma and a smooth taste.
