Description
Akatsuki Peach is one of Japan’s most beloved peach varieties, known for its rich sweetness, juicy flesh, and pleasantly firm texture. Grown mainly in Fukushima, its birthplace and Japan’s leading production area, Akatsuki offers a well-balanced flavor with a high sugar level of around 12–14 Brix and a gentle acidity. Unlike very soft peaches, its firm flesh keeps a refreshing bite and can be enjoyed even with the skin for a crisp, fragrant taste. In season from late July to early August, it is a beautiful and premium summer fruit perfect for gifting or enjoying fresh.
