About the Brewery
Founded in 1915 in Konan City, Aichi Prefecture, Kunpeki Shuzo has been crafting sake for over a century. The name “Kunpeki” symbolizes reverence for nature and the universe.
Today, fourth-generation brewer Kōyasu Murase leads the brewery with a commitment to small-batch production, using pure Kiso River water and carefully selected regional rice. This Gojo River Sakura sake is a tribute to that legacy — a delicate, seasonal expression that celebrates place, tradition, and the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms.
