Ninben, established in 1699 during the Edo period, is a long-standing specialist in dashi, a traditional soup stock.
This miso soup highlights the rich aroma of bonito, enhanced by the umami of dashi. By separating the ingredient block and the seasoning block, the ingredients maintain their natural flavors without absorbing too much seasoning, allowing them to shine.
The ingredient block features thick, tender, and vividly colored domestically sourced wakame seaweed. The seasoning block contains mild white miso that preserves the natural taste of soybeans, combined with bonito and kelp powders made from domestic ingredients for a well-balanced flavor. Simply add hot water to release the rich aroma of bonito.
