For the grape:
The Black Shine Muscat is an exceptionally rare grape variety developed by the Shimura Grape Research Institute in Fuefuki City. It’s an upgraded version of the popular Shine Muscat, created by crossing "Wink" and boasts exceptionally large berries with enhanced qualities.

(1)Heart-shaped, extra-large flesh with honey-like sweetness.

The heart-shaped Black Shine Muscat grapes are renowned for their high sugar content, often reaching 24-26 degrees, with some surpassing 30 degrees, giving them a honey-like sweetness. These seedless grapes have a unique, chewy texture and a crispy, flavorful skin, unlike any other variety.

(2)Known as the "phantom grape" due to its limited production

There are still very few producers cultivating it, and production is limited to certain parts of Yamanashi Prefecture. Due to its rarity and the limited number of producers who can grow this rare variety, it is seldom seen in supermarkets or fruit shops across Japan.
TFD has also started to sell it in limited quantities, and we hope you will enjoy it.

(3) With a 1,200-year history, Yamanashi produces Japan's finest grapes.

This black Shine Muscat grape is cultivated at the Shimura Grape Research Institute, a world-renowned grape specialist, in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan's largest grape-producing region. Its peak season is from late August to late September. Named "Fuji no Kagayaki" (Fujino's Radiance) after Mount Fuji, it aspires to be the best in Japan.
