This is a good sake bottle for a special day. By allowing it to slowly matured at low temperature, it produces an exquisite and refreshing dry taste. The sake rice Kimmon-Nishiki, also called 'Phantom Rice' is exclusively produced in Kitashimadaira village in Nagano (A few villages in Nagano make this brand now). Kimmon-Nishiki is cultivated using organic fertilizer and 50% less agricultural chemical than the standard set by Nagano prefecture. It was awarded the Minister of Agricultural Prize.

The real Sake meaning
Sake is a Japanese word that refers to alcohol in general. Non-Japanese usually refer to "sake" as the specific alcoholic drink made from fermented rice which the rice has been polished to remove the bran. In Japan, people call this drink nihonshu (to differentiate it from "sake" which in Japanese can also refer to alcohol in general).
